STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe the Bible is infallible and inerrant. It is the Word of God and is the only safe guide for faith and practice.

We believe in the Holy Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. There is one God eternally existent in three persons.

We believe in the Genesis account of creation.

We believe in the fall of Adam and Eve into disobedience, bringing spiritual ruin to mankind. Every child born of human parentage has a sinful nature and needs to be saved.

Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary, lived a perfect and sinless life, died on a cross for the sins of mankind, was buried and on the third day arose from the grave. He ascended into heaven and will come again as He promised.

Salvation (the forgiveness of sins and reception of eternal life) is the gift of God and is received by faith without any merit of man.

God keeps those He saves, therefore salvation is eternal to the believer in Christ.

We reject the modern tongues movement as unscriptural.
